Re-Scheduling SBDC Phone Call Meeting:
If you would like to reschedule your appointment, please be sure to email me or call me at 510-761-5895. You can also use the self-scheduling tool to change the time.
The SBDC appointments are free of charge and are paid for by the county that your business is located in. You must, however, first sign up with your county’s SBDC to begin services.
In order to be respectful of my advisory time and other potential clients, please be courteous. I require that you call me at 510-761-5895 or email me at least 48 hours in advance. If you do not reach me directly, please leave a detailed message on the voicemail. My Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will give another Client the possibility of access. Late cancellations will be considered as a “no-show”.
A “no-show” is someone who misses an appointment without canceling in an adequate manner or simply not showing. Two (2) “no-shows” or last minute cancellations will lead to being removed from my calendar for 60 days before setting up another appointment with me.

Piedmont Avenue Consulting was founded by David Mitroff, Ph.D., to meet the growing needs of the consulting relationships he has built with organizations and business owners in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond over the last 15 years.
Dr. Mitroff has held numerous consultative sales and technology positions, along with co-founding three companies, covering diverse environments including technology, business, legal, financial, retail, restaurant, government, academic, and healthcare.
His extensive education includes a Doctorate Degree, Masters, and Bachelors, in Clinical Psychology with additional coursework in law and business administration. This wealth of knowledge is transferred to clients, in particular, David shows clients how to master the psychology behind the customers’ decisions leading to heightened sales, increased customer experiences, and enhanced relationship building techniques.
These comprehensive experiences, along with an extensive network of contacts are uniquely leveraged and differentiate David from other consultants. He questions assumptions offer creative ideas, and encourages new initiatives from strategy through implementation, from company formation to enhancing an existing organization.
David is an active member, on the executive board, or advisory committees for several organizations. Dr. Mitroff is also an Instructor who teaches entrepreneurship and marketing courses at the University of California, Berkeley for the International Diploma Program and is a Google Mentor for the Google Launchpad Accelerator program. He continually collaborates with several consultant groups, merchant associations, and charities to best serve the community.
